The objective of this page is to support hunting and conventional competitive shooting in the upstate NY area. 

• The Tri County Rifle Team Association is a organization of small bore rifle teams from Ft. Ann, Ft. Edward, Galway, Moreau, Hartford, Hudson Falls, Ticonderoga  and Whitehall. Teams from the member clubs shoot shoulder to shoulder on Thursday evenings in a winter 4 position league.
• The Adirondack Foothills Pistol League consists of pistol teams from Scotia, Galway, Hudson Falls, Salem, Troy, North Troy, Clifton Park and Saratoga. The teams shoot a 300 conventional shoulder to shoulder match on Monday evenings through the winter months. Only .22 rim fire is allowed.
• Sanctioned Matches are held by several nearby clubs. Including the Hudson Falls Fish and Game Club where I participate. Follow this link to information on the  (2002 sectional results.) • The Empire State Games are held in once a year. The Olympic style shooting events feature two selected competitors from each of the states 5 regions in each of 3 position rifle, prone rifle, rapid fire pistol, free pistol and women's sport pistol. The rifle events also have a junior competition. Shotgun and archery competitions are held as well. The Adirondack Region conducts tryout matches to select participants. The dates of the 2004 tryouts are pending.
• The Hudson Falls Fish And Game Club conducts several pistol rifle archery and skeet events each year.
