TCRTA 2008 Season will start 1/3/2008
The association coordinates the conventional small bore
rifle competitions among the member teams. All teams are
interested in recruiting new participants. If you are
interested in joining a team or in finding out more about
the activity please email me at rwmorris@adelphia.net.
Matches are held every Thursday evening at 8 PM from
December through April. Teams may field up to 20
competitors or more but only the top 5 competitor's
scores are used to compile the team score. Individual
scores are also compiled. Individuals compete on a season
basis within the league classification structure.
Trophies are awarded to the top teams and to the top
competitors in several classes.
The equipment used is a small bore .22 rim fire target
rifle and associated gear that conforms to the NRA
conventional small bore rifle regulations. The course
of fire is 5 rounds in each of prone, sitting, kneeling,
and offhand. For a maximum point score of 200. Classes
are determined from the previous season's average as follows:
